Construction Payment Schedules, Explained
How stage-wise payments work, what to pay when, and how to avoid paying ahead of work.

A fair construction contract links every payment to a finished stage of work, never to dates alone.
A typical schedule
- Booking amount on signing the contract
- Foundation complete
- Structure (each slab) complete
- Brickwork and plastering complete
- Flooring and finishing complete
- Handover and final inspection
Protect yourself
Pay only after the stage is inspected, keep receipts for every payment, and ask for photos of the completed work.
How we do it
Our clients see each stage, its photos and every payment — paid and due — in their client portal.
